unshrinkitHere I am with our own Karen and Leslie Gaydos from NECN's show "Does It Work". We tested a product called unshrinkit. The segment will air Wednesday March 4. Tune in to see "Does it work?"  Check it out to see if it really does work! This could change the knitting world!

This Month

SO happy that spring is here! Come by for spring yarn and early summer projects.

If you missed Lisa's appearance on Knitting Daily with Vickie Howell, you can follow along withthe sho and catch it another time. It is definitely on RI PBS (not so sure about Boston) Sunday mornings at 8:30. This show offers a wealth of knitting information with fabulous interviews and tipe from wonderful designers and people just like you who love to knit. Our episode (the one featuring Lisa and Darlene) is 1408, Playtime. We are so excited!

We have a huge collection of older magazines, Vogue, Interweave, Knit Simple, Knitters, Knit 'n Style. Everything between 2000 and 2010 has been put on our FREE book case in the front of the store. It's definitely worth a trip to the shop just to poke through them.

Hetty Friedman is coming to our April 7th Weaving class. This was rescheduled from February when the weather was not cooperating. We hope to hear about her trips to Guatemala and view samples of the Guatemalan weavers' work.

We are starting to collect supplies for the Massachusetts Stand Down in August. Last year we donated 25 backpacks, each one filled with toiletries, towels. socks and more. This year we are planning on 30 filled backpacks. Come to any of our clubs and help us plan for this wonderful event that helps homeless veterans. Here is a link to the online spreadsheet we are using to track who is contributing what. Thanks for your support.
